Children’s Beginner Class

$220‍ ‍(plus fabric and notions)

Term 2 2026

Tuesdays 2, 9, 16, 23 June

(4 week tuition) 5pm - 7pm

  • The classes will run for 4 consecutive weeks. ‍ ‍

    They are held on Tuesday 2, 9, 16 & 23 June, 2026.

  • Children aged 10 and over are welcome to join the class.

    We will have ‘sew’ much fun together!

  • The classes will be for 2 hours per session and over 4 consecutive weeks.

  • Students will learn basic sewing skills and then make a lined/reversible tote bag.

    Pictures of the Bag can be found in the ‘Shop’ section for the Children’s Beginner Class which is in here.

  • The class size will be a maximum of 4 students, and a minimum of 2.

    This will allow for a personalised experience.

  • You will need to bring your own sewing machine in good working order.

    You will also need a list of fabric and sewing notions and this list will be supplied to you upon booking and prior to the class.

  • Bookings can be made HERE.

    Payment must be made in full at time of booking.

    Class fee is non-refundable if cancelled within 2 weeks of class commencing.

    Refund is only given if place is filled. No refunds will be given after commencement of class.

    Requirements list and further details will be provided once class fee is paid.

    I reserve the right to cancel the class due to class booking numbers not meeting minimum requirement of 2 students.

Adult Beginner Class

$220‍ ‍(plus fabric and notions)

(4 week tuition) 7pm - 9pm

  • Term 2 2026 classes are Tuesdays 21, 28 April, 5, 12 May, 7pm - 9pm. The classes will run for 4 consecutive weeks.

    If these dates don’t suit you, but you are interested, please contact me here to ensure I let you know of the next dates.

  • The class is for those over the age of 16.

    And for those who have some sewing machine knowledge and sewing and techniques. Students will make a pair of woven (cotton or flannelette) Pajama Pants.

  • The course will run for 2 hours per session over 4 consecutive weeks.

  • Students will learn basic sewing machine information and sewing skills and techniques.

    You will learn about measurement, layout and cutting and make a pair of woven (cotton or flannelette) Pajama Pants (including side pockets, hem cuffs and elastic casing waist).

  • The class size will be a maximum of 4 students, and a minimum of 2.

    This will allow for a personalised experience.

  • You will need to bring your own sewing machine in good working order including the power cord and foot control. (I do have one machine for hire @ $15 per class. If you are wanting to hire this please add this to your booking).

    You will also need all requirements for your project including fabric (must be 100% cotton woven fabric or flannelette) and a list of sewing notions. A list will be supplied to you upon booking and prior to the class.

Private Sewing Tuition

$150 (2 hours tuition)

Private one-on-one sewing classes available on request. 2 hour session for $150, additional hours $65 per hour. Please contact me below if you are interested in discussing this further.

  • You will continue to build on your skills and learn new techniques, whilst working on your own project.

    We will look at using commercial patterns and making basic adjustments to fit your body.

  • The class size will be a maximum of 4 students, and a minimum of 2.

    This will allow for a personalised experience.

  • You will need to bring your own sewing machine in good working order.

    You will also need all requirements for your project including a pattern and fabric and a list of sewing notions. A list will be supplied to you upon booking and prior to the class.

Sewing Workshops

for Skill Development

  • Dates and times to be confirmed although they will be evenings or weekends.

  • The class is for those over the age of 16.

    It is for those who have some sewing machine knowledge and sewing experience and would like to develop skills and learn tips and techniques.

    Some examples of workshops may include:

    • Measurements and understanding patterns

    • Zips and insertion methods

    • Seam finishes

    • Waistbands and facings

    • Gathering and pleats

    If there is something in particular you would like to learn I can design a workshop around this. Please email me here.

  • Each workshop will run for 2 hours and you can choose one or all classes to attend.

    The workshops will be held on evenings or weekends.

  • Students will develop skills and learn tips and techniques to enhance their sewing.

    With over 30 years of professional sewing experience I have learnt many techniques that I would love to share with you.

    Please let me know if there is any techniques in particular that you would like to know and I can develop a workshop tailored to your needs.
